week of 2/28

I tried a new pork recipe to use up a tenderloin I had in the freezer. I only marinated it for a few hours- I think it would have tasted better if it was overnight. Still good flavor though. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/herb-marinated-pork-tenderloins-recipe/index.html

I learned something new about my husband when I made this dish- apparently he doesn't like mushrooms! Needless to say, this wasn't his favorite, but I appreciated the tang of the lemon. I still like marsala better. http://overcocktails.blogspot.com/2009/03/chicken-piccata-all-time-fave.html

I had this recipe for the first time at a harvest party and I love it. A tasty way to get a load of good stuff. Colter was crazy about this salad. He was stuffing kale in his house like it was candy.
